A group of Kimbilio's secondary school students spent the day at the museum for a guided tour. In the DR Congo, primary, secondary and university students are given opportunities visit museums in conjunction with their studies. The National Museum of Lubumbashi, founded in 1958, shares the rich, diverse cultural heritage of the region. It gave our students the opportunity to learn about the region's history, its mineral wealth, its culture and traditions, and its agriculture. Don't miss the photo of one of our students taking in a painting by famed artist Papa Kahilu, reknowned for his paintings of Lubumbashi. #momaa #muséenationaldeLubumbashi #streetchildren #papakahilu #DRCongo #Lubumbashi #homelessness #poverty #education
